Elite Safe Ride LLC, operating under the trading name Sylver ("Sylver", "Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"), is a professional chauffeured transportation company operating in South Florida. This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected through our websites (sylverway.com and elitesaferides.com, which serve the same site), the Sylver passenger app, our driver platform, dispatch systems, and any related services or communications (collectively, "Services").
This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information, and explains your rights as a user in connection with your personal data.

Outside an active trip, passenger device location is accessed only when you initiate a location-based feature in the app. We never track your device in the background. You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings.
Our platform includes in-app messaging between passengers and drivers. We collect and store:
Communications may be monitored or recorded where permitted by applicable law for purposes of quality assurance, safety, training, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.
Drivers who use our platform provide additional information including driver's license details, vehicle registration and insurance documentation, background check authorizations, and banking information for payroll purposes. Driver data is managed separately and is not shared with passengers beyond what is necessary to complete a ride (name, photo, vehicle, plate, and phone number).
We may receive information about you from third parties, including:
Sylvi is the optional AI assistant inside the passenger app. When you use it, we process the messages you type and the account information needed to answer them — your own trip history, trip details, and spending totals. Sylvi can access information belonging to your account only.
To generate a reply, your messages and the relevant account information are sent to Anthropic, PBC, which provides the underlying AI model. Anthropic processes this data as our service provider, under contract, in order to return a response. We do not use your Sylvi conversations to train AI models, and we do not sell them.
Your conversation with Sylvi is held on your device. We do not keep a server-side transcript of it; when you clear the conversation in the app, it is gone. Anything Sylvi does on your behalf that leaves the app — such as emailing you a receipt — requires your explicit confirmation and is logged like any other message we send you. Using Sylvi is entirely optional.
We use your phone number and device information to deliver ride-related notifications through the following channels:
You may manage your notification preferences at any time in the App Settings screen. Opting out of SMS or push does not affect your ability to use the service but may result in delayed awareness of ride updates. Transactional emails required for service delivery cannot be opted out of while maintaining an active account.
We process your personal information on the following legal bases:
When a driver is assigned to your booking, we share limited passenger information necessary to complete the ride: your first name, pickup location, destination, estimated arrival time, phone number (via proxy where applicable), and any relevant special instructions.
When a driver is assigned, passengers receive the driver's first name, profile photo, vehicle type, license plate, and approximate real-time location. Driver personal contact information is not shared directly — communications are routed through the platform.
Calls and texts between you and your driver use temporary masked numbers (via Twilio). For safety, support, and dispute resolution, calls placed through the app are recorded — both parties hear a spoken notice that the call is being recorded before being connected. We retain call recordings for 90 days, and call/text metadata for 12 months. We do not store the content of text messages.

No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing under any circumstances. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that help us deliver our own ride-related and account messages, and only as needed to operate the service.

The security of your personal information is a priority. We implement a range of administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including:
No system is completely impervious to security threats. In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
Our platform uses browser local storage and session storage (not traditional cookies) to maintain your login session, store your theme preference (dark/light mode), and cache booking-related data to improve performance. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
You can clear stored data at any time through your browser or device settings. Clearing stored data may require you to log in again.
With your consent, we send push notifications to your device for ride confirmations, driver assignments, ETA updates, arrival alerts, and account security events. Push notifications are delivered through a third-party push notification service provider. You can manage notification preferences through your device settings or within our application at any time. Disabling notifications may result in missed ride updates.
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Elite Safe Ride LLC related to your bookings and account, including:
Mobile information sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing under any circumstances. Your mobile number is used solely to deliver the ride-related and account messages described above. Information may be shared only with the service providers that help us deliver these messages (such as our SMS provider), and only as needed to operate the service.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your booking and ride activity.
Rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-out and help: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us; you will receive a confirmation and no further notification messages. For assistance, reply HELP to any message, or contact us through our website at sylverway.com/contact.html. Please note that opting out of security-related messages (such as one-time verification codes) may not be possible, as they are required for account access.
How you opt in: You opt in to ride-related SMS messages by checking the SMS consent box during the online booking process or when creating a passenger account; this box is not pre-checked and must be actively selected by you. One-time verification codes are sent only when you actively request them within our application — for example, when you choose to verify your identity, change your PIN, or confirm a sensitive account action; your in-app request is your consent to receive that code.
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect, use, or share personal information from children under 18 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18 without proper consent, we will take prompt steps to delete that information. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
To exercise any of these rights, please email info@sylverway.com, submit a request through our website at sylverway.com, or use our in-app contact feature. We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
You do not need to contact us to delete a passenger account, and you do not need to wait for us to act on a request. You can delete it yourself, at any time, from inside the Sylver app: open Account, choose Delete Account, and confirm with the code we text you. If you have a verified email address on your account, a second code is emailed to you and both are required.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no recovery window — the 30-day response time described above applies to requests you send us by email, not to the in-app control, which takes effect the moment you confirm. If you have an upcoming ride that has not been completed or cancelled, deletion is blocked until you cancel it.
When you delete your account we erase your name, email address, phone number, sign-in credentials, profile photo, home address, date of birth, saved payment methods, notification tokens and referral code, and we remove your name, email and phone from your past ride records. The ride records themselves are retained — dates, routes, fares and payment records — because they are business, tax, insurance and financial records, on the retention schedule set out in Section 6. They are no longer linked to your name, email address or phone number.

One thing we do keep. When you delete your account, the deletion screen asks — optionally — why you are leaving, as a choice from a short list. We record that choice, together with the de-identified reference for the closed account and the date, so that we can understand why people stop using Sylver. If you choose not to answer, we record only that the question was declined. We do not store any free text: there is no comment box on that screen, and nothing you type anywhere else is kept with it. This record is not linked to your name, email address or phone number, because those have already been erased.
Driver and corporate accounts are not deleted through the passenger app. If you drive with Sylver or hold a corporate account, email info@sylverway.com — those accounts carry contractual, payout and tax records that are handled separately.
Residents of Florida are entitled to certain rights under Florida law regarding their personal information. Elite Safe Ride LLC is committed to complying with all applicable Florida privacy statutes, including the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA), Florida Statute §501.171, and any applicable provisions of the Florida Digital Bill of Rights as enacted. If you are a Florida resident and believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may contact the Florida Attorney General's Office or contact us directly.
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Google Maps, aviation data providers, or our marketing website). This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through our Services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use in connection with our platform.
Elite Safe Ride LLC is based in South Florida, United States. Our Services are intended for users within the United States. If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be processed and stored in the United States, which may have different data protection standards than your home country. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
In the event of a data security breach that affects your personal information, Elite Safe Ride LLC will notify affected individuals as required by Florida Statute §501.171 and any other applicable law. Notification will be provided via email or in-app notification and will include a description of the incident, the type of data involved, steps we are taking, and recommended actions for affected users.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. We will post the updated Policy on our website with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of our Services following the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
